The pain inside is what drives us. We cover our scars with smiles and tattoos. We skip all sad moments, and just live in the moment with hopes that when we close our eyes to sleep, we really sleep and not be haunted by the realities of what really is.
Life is what it is......

"This Too Shall Pass" , I always remind myself  . It always does. It really always does.

On that path of bliss where even the wrong things feel right. The right things are just right .
But just in a twinkle of an eye it's all just a bunch of memories. Memories I chose not to remember.
Suppressing it all in and pretending it was all just a figment of my imagination. But Rain gets it, though only I can see her. She's not imaginary,She's real. I can feel her next to me every time I need her.

Oh dear me, as cold as one can ever be. Filled with the fear of allowing man to warm me.

Oh dear me, through pain comes strength but sometimes I feel me weakening.

"Still i rise"
"Time heals"
"No moment lasts forever"

 ....................... smh!!!!!!

At some point i almost stopped believing in my own beliefs .
I stopped trusting in my own truth. The lies seemed to have won me over. The lies that i told myself. The lies that got me into this state that i can't run away from.
Who will i blame but me............

I let him into my life,
I allowed him take full position,
I allowed him wear the crown as King and rule.
He ruled all over me and led me into his path of deceit ,blinded by his charm . Deadly charm but i couldn't see it .

Then i met him... the other.
The other that evoked the dead me in me .
The other that showed me a new world that involved just us, where we met mind, body and soul.
Us as our own stress relief .
Us as our own escape .
Us as our own drug that got us too high to see our lowness.
Us that created a being in us that joined us into a life long bond from passionate moment that we will live to remember .

And that is all i am....
That girl with so many memories ,
That girl with moments that don't last forever, because indeed "This too shall pass" , "Still i rise" , "Time heals" , "No moment lasts forever"

ZAMBIAN BREWERIES $2M INVESTMENT RESTORES CASTLE LITE PRODUCTION

" It is gratifying to know that Castle Lite Lager will be made from the finest Zambian barley, freshly malted in Zambia at the company's new maltings plant located in the Lusaka-South Multi-facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ) " said Hon Minister of Commerce , Trade & Industry - Margaret Mwanakatwe at the official commissioning of the Castle Lite packaging equipment on Friday February 3rd ,2017 at the Zambian Breweries Mungwi Road Plant in Lusaka.

The event was attended by Senior Government officials in the Ministry of Commerce ,Trade & Industry, Director General of the Zambia Development Agency, Managing Director - Zabs , Managing Director LWSC, Director of Research and Planning - ZRA ,Director General of ZNBC , Zambian Breweries Management and representatives of various media houses where the
Country Manager ZB - Annabelle Degroot expressed happiness and hopes that Castle Lite Lovers will enjoy the locally produced lager as Zambian Breweries is committed to providing their consumers with the best and such assured them that the local production of their favourite Castle Lite will in no way affect the high standard of the product.

For Zambian breweries this was a special day as they were launching this line which they had invested $2 Million in finally being commissioned .What better way to start the year than with such an achievement .

"Zambian Breweries had halted the production of Castle Lite in 2015 because its volumes had fallen to below 100,000 Hectolitre  level due to , among other reasons ,the high excise tax, at the time (60% tax rate), of which had also somehow provided an opportunity for smuggling the product into the country and accounting for twice that of the legally imported product. Given this development, Zambian Breweries made a loss of about k24 million in the financial year "

"We will maintain the high international standard. Nothing will change as the taste and everything else will be maintained. It is only that this will be produced and packaged locally ,Making it also more affordable and easily accessible"

It's amazing how January seems so far from December when the year just begins. And with high hopes of achieving our planned goals as we start the journey, some of us lose track right in the middle, hence the hashtag #AreYouOnTrackZed .

On Friday ,a group of us gathered at Pizza Hut to talk about our lives and check progress of the things we said we'd do this year.
The gathering, hosted by Dj LkM was meant to help us understand the importance of Focusing on the proposed goals as well as learning to plan and prepare as we try to implement our goals.

Personal branding was an issue we tackled because in everything we do, how we present ourselves reflects back on our work.
Practically, we chose Pizza hut as  venue choice to use as an example because of their branding and marketing strategy choices.

" Entering into an already existing market is a risk in business that is worth taking if properly planned. It may seem expensive but proper branding and marketing is good investment if you aim at being a market leader "- (Martha Ashley Nakazwe) The same applies to us personally especially if we are trying to breakout in an industry which has it's own favorites at the top.

"Brand power is everything" - (Roberto Zambia ) it is important to brand yourself in way that reflects your kind of work as that way the brand speaks for itself and you earn the respect from those that are seeing from afar.

Quietly I weep to myself. Buried under my sheets where it's dark enough.
Wondering how yet again, it's grieving time. Though for a different cause, but with familiar kind of pain.
The kind that reminds you of how much of a loner you are. How much being solitude has led to severe isolation.
Isolated because my dependency on man will cause me more pain as when I need someone to wipe my tears, none is available at my aid.

I wear my Hijab, looking directly into the mirror reminding myself that purity within will not only give "me" inner peace, but will allow "me" learn to love the "me" I strongly started to hate.

The fear of facing the demons roaming around , the fear of sleep because of nightmares , the fear of reality as it seems worse than the nightmares themselves.

How did I get here? I always seem to have my shit together.....
How did I get here?

Avoiding my shrink , because I don't want to talk. But I want to find the cure. I want to find myself. I want to find "me" and tell "me" to help "me" lift off this burden of self pity and guilt that "me" had self inflicted .

The "glits and the glam" , the red carpet moment with flashing lights as the Zambezi Magic TV red carpet host 'Scarlet' interacted with the guests along side other media houses as they walked down the runner celebrity style  with the HuaweiP9 camera on standby to save the moments.

November 30th, 2016 - Multiple award winning RnB Singer/Song writer Roberto launched his latest video "Into You" at the Cigar Lounge in Lusaka Zambia which was hosted by Zambezi Magic -ZedTop10 presenter "Benas" .
The Bratherhood powered event saw performances off their new album "Genesis" which features Ice Kid ,Mandela ,Young Riko ,Ricky Panton and of course General Ozzy with the icing on the Cake that evening being the premier of the "Into You" video which too is on the album.
